Free State Stadium

Free State Stadium is situated in the Free State Province in the city of Bloemfontein.

The Free State Stadium was constructed in 1955 to host rugby and athletics games. It was upgraded in the lead up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup to host some of the World Cup matches. The stadium is currently referred to as the Toyota Stadium for sponsorship reasons.

Current use

The Free State Stadium is home ground to the Free State Cheetahs rugby union and to the Marumo Gallants FC. It was previously also used by Bloemfontein Celtic FC before the club sold its PSL status to Royal AM football club in 2021.
