Table of Contents

There are many players who may claim to have contributed weight to the number 10 jersey in South Africa. Legends such as Jomo Sono, Scara Thindwa and Roger Featumba used to don the jersey and they did justice to it.

But Teenage Dladla can single-handedly claim to have made the number 11 jersey heavy at Chiefs. Since his retirement, the number 11 Jersey has been reserved only for match-winning dribbling wizards at the club. Names of other players that have popularized the jersey at Chiefs are Jabu Pule and Scara Ngobese.

Another jersey that is a contender for the heaviest jersey in South Africa is the number 15. Doctor Khumalo made this jersey what it is today. Since then, it has been won by other enterprising players such as Andile Jali and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo.
