On Tuesday, Iqraam Rayners became the first Africa-based player to win the Superior Player of the Match AKA Man of the Match Award when Mamelodi Sundowns beat Ulsan HD of Japan in the FIFA Club World Cup in Orlando, USA.

Rayners scored 3 goals but two of them were disallowed by VAR and made several other threatening attempts at goal. Mamelodi Sundowns won the match 1-0.
