On May, 15, 2025 South Africa U20’s male team eliminated record seven-time champions Nigeria with a 1-0 win at the Suez Canal Stadium in Egypt.

A goal by Tylon Smith at 65^th minute sent the lads to the final where they are going to meet Morocco in the final.

The last time Amajita were in the final was in 1997.
