The history-and-heritage rich tour of the Moses Mabhida Stadium begins at the Visitors Centre.

The tour-guide leads the tourists up a staircase onto a deck on the northern side of the stadium. This deck can also be used as a helipad. According to the tour-guide, tourists have previously been flown out of this deck.

From the deck, you can clearly see the statue of Moses Mabhida situated at the entrance of the stadium.

Regular maintenance goes on at the stadium. Here, the maintenance team has put a scaffold. They are currently renovating the roof of the stadium.

The tour-guide leads the tourists into the presidential suite. Visitors to the presidential suite go there on invitation. One cannot buy a ticket to sit in the presidential suite during games or events at the stadium. You must be invited!

Tourists exit the presidential suite through the presidential atrium. The atrium comprises of some interesting photographs and art pieces such as the ones seen below:
From the atrium, the tour-guide leads the tourists into the players’ change rooms.
Bathtubs and jacuzzi used by players to cool off.
Then the tourists go through the tunnel to reach the pitch. This is the same tunnel used by players during the matches.
