The biggest scoreline ever recorded in a soccer match is 149–0.

AS Adema holds the Guinness World Record for beating SO l’Emyrne 149–0 in a league match in Madagascar in 2002. Apparently, SO l’Emyrne deliberately scored own goals to protest against the referee’s decisions in the match.

Other Notable High-Scoring Matches

Arbroath (Scotland):
Won 36–0 against Bon Accord in the Scottish Cup on 12 September 1885.
Guinness World Records recognises this as the highest score in a first-class competitive match.

Infonet FC (Estonia):
Matched the same scoreline by beating Virtsu Jalgpalliklubi 36–0 in the Estonian Cup on 13 June 2015.

The Powerlines Score

In South Africa, the line, “powerlines score”, is used to refer to a match wherein Mamelodi Sundowns FC beat third-division side, Powerlines FC, 24-0 in a Nedbank Cup match in 2012.
